Match Highlights

The triumph consolidates the excellent moment experienced by the black and yellow squad in this final stretch of the national season. The São Paulo team had come from a record of four wins and one draw in their previous five appearances in the competition, demonstrating great competitive stability and tactical repertoire. The group overcame the recent invincibility of the Ceará team, which boasted two wins and three draws in their last five matches before taking to the field on Saturday.

What the Numbers Say

The victory has a direct impact on the dispute for the title and the top positions in the standings. On the other hand, Fortaleza, which started the match in fifth place with 62 points in 36 games, sees its situation become more delicate in the direct pursuit of the top group.
